The Peru Volunteer Fire Department, founded in ????, provides fire, rescue, and emergency medical services to Peru, a rural hilltown in western Massachusetts occupying 25 square miles with a population of approximately 830.
In addition, we have mutual aid agreements with departments in Hinsdale, Middlefield, and Windsor.
